However, Siri sometimes feels like she’s behind the curve when it comes to understanding context compared to the others. Ask her to “find pictures from my last vacation” and she gets it right, but ask her to “find pictures I took last Friday,” and you might see her struggle. On the flip side, her voice detection is superb, especially in noisy environments and even when I’m muttering.
Google Assistant: The Knowledge Guru
Google Assistant is the know-it-all we all secretly admire. If you’re someone who frequently asks questions like, “What’s the fastest way to get to XYZ?” or “How do you say ‘where’s the bathroom’ in Italian?” Google’s your best bet. The Assistant is powered by Google’s search prowess and offers the most reliable answers. My personal favorite is using Google Assistant to control my Android TV with simple commands like “Play Breaking Bad” or “Show me YouTube videos on baking.”
However, setting up routines can be more complicated than I’d like. I still get a laugh remembering the time I tried to set up a morning routine, only for Google to start reading out the dictionary definition of “breakfast.”
